I am currently deployed to iraq and going on leave soon and was wondering if there would be a way to get lasik eye surgery paid for by the army. what is the policy on this? I am a deployed national guardsman

I am getting Lasik surgery on Thursday and was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect the day of surgery? I’m not worried about the results, just want to know what will happen and what I should expect to experience? Thank you!
Have been thing about having lasik but not sure who or what place to have it done. Will be in phoenix arizona anyone have any recommend or experiences? What’s regular lasik and custom does it really make a difference?
I am wondering if there would be a reason a person would not be eligible to do it? For instance, is there a limit to how low your vision can be?
