Lasik surgery has been gaining in popularity over the past years and one of the reasons is that lasik costs have been declining making it more affordable for everyone. Lasik is also popular because it is easy, the recovery period is short and it is safe compared with other vision correction surgery.

Spikeball Z asked: I had lasik surgery three weeks ago and my ability to see contrast is still not as good as it was when I had glasses. TV shows in hi-def and regular-def look the same to me. Anyone has the same experience? When does it get better?

I have noticed that more people I work with are talking about, or undergoing, the Lasik vision correction procedure. I don’t know really know why Lasik has suddenly become more popular in my company, but I do know that there are a number of rumors about Lasik that I am not sure are true.
