It seems like more and more people )primarily young women) are opting to alter their appearance with the use of plastic surgery. I myself had a small procedure done when i was younger (i got a large cut on my cheek, it scarred badly and i had surgery to fix it) but I would never change anything else about myself. Im just curious to hear other peoples opinions.

I don’t really mind. It’s their body, they can do what they want with their money…
I’m not bothered by it, unless they don’t need it. If they were in an accident (such as you), that’s perfectly fine.

God made you the way you are, you shouldn’t change it.

if u get plastic surgery i think ur fake(not in ur case tho).its so insecure you should love your apperance.it reminds you of your parents since they gave you birth and you have their combined genes.people always say to me”woah your like liitle sophie(mom).you have your dads blue eyes but everything else is your mom.”i love hearing that and seeing how much i look like my parents.its something you have in common with them.
I don’t really agree with it unless it’s for a good reason like yours. If it’s something that affects your everyday life and self confidence then sure. But people are having surgery just for the sake of it nowadays. People have become too obsessed with looking ‘perfect’ because of all this crap they see in magazines. They’re losing their identity and that’s why I don’t agree with it.
Ive had a nose job and ears pinned back my nose i needed since i could bearly breathe i had to breathe with my mouth most of the time but my ears were big and i hated them ! andi got the surgery i spent like 10,000 dollars it was worth it cuz am very confident i feel i can get any job now
you know many people are skeptical when it comes to cosmetic surgery. ive never had anything done before but think about this: whats the difference if a women dyes her hair and a young teen gets braces. nobody ever said the world needs perfect teeth, people can use crooked ones just fine. and colored hair, that’s changing an appearance of ones self. these things are in some way a cosmetic alteration but yet society is ok with them. so whats the difference of spending 5,000 dollars for bigger boobs or spending 50 dollars for a different hair color. if the person has the money go for it.
I still feel you need to be you. Take care of yourself and your skin and hair but don’t do anything beyond what you can do on your own. If you need a doctor, you are going too far. That’s my feeling on the subject.
My brother did the same thing as you. He got in an accident and had a giant gash across his forehead. He had plastic surgery to get all the glass out and make his face normal. But I don’t like when people get it done for no good reason…
i think its fake it makes a person who they really arent. it changes a person and messes up how a person is SUPPOSED 2 look by aging.
BUT…i think its “okay” to get line fillers or (wats it called?), where u minimize the looks of wrinkles but i dont think its worth all that money. doesnt it cost like $1000? Might as well just get a wrinkles cream at walmart right? but as far as the boob jobs and nose jobs and lip jobs etc i think thats wrong.
i think youre absolutely right. everyone has their own opinions though. i honestly don’t care, because its their body and not mine. i dont really like it when they do that, because that just means they dont like the body they were originally given. i’m sorry they feel that way about their bodies.
but its their choice, and if they choose plastic surgery, then so be it. right?
they do what they want with their body.
although it does bother me a bit when they have these shows on television on how much they spent for the operation.
