What happens to before and after plastic surgery photos?

I’m an actress and about a year ago I had plastic surgery. I’ve been doing a few movies and getting more attention. I was wondering what happens to those photos taken at the plastic surgeons office. I’m worried that they may someday be released to the media. I know its incredible illegal for the doctor to release them, but what if the lull of money is far greater than the fear of prosecution?
