How do request time off work for cosmetic surgery and be confidential?

cosmetic surgery
Nicole asked:

In December of this year I am having a tummy tuck, breast implants, and some liposuction. I don’t want to disclose that I’m having “cosmetic surgery” but I will need about two weeks off before I can return to work. I know that eventually they’ll notice what I had done and I don’t want to lie. But I don’t want to be denied time off because it’s an elective procedure.

Thanks in advance!
