I use to wear contacts for about 10 years, I just got contacts yesterday and I love them. Now I can play hockey and not have to worry about my glasses fogging up or getting knocked off.

i think most people had contact lens at the same times glasses for backup as contact lens wearer need to rest their eye from C.L. to prevent infection due to over wearing.
as surgery estimated about 10% to 15% and must be 21 yrs old and above.

Its likely to be over 60% or 70% as you see a lot of people using them now days.

Percentage is difficult to be calculated as there are atleast 3 amongst 10 people who either wear glasses or contacts or have done LASIK eye surgery…

All these procedures and eye opticals are for vision correction, most patients experience new, clear vision that’s potentially near perfect. Hence most of them who have vision problem have their vision cleared as it can cure nearsightedness, astigmatism and farsightedness….

Now a days, LASIK eye surgery is so common that millions of people have decided that it was time to abandon their corrective lenses, once and for all. There are so many LASIK clinics that you’re likely to find one close by, no matter where you live. And due to advances in technology and the wide demand for this type of service, LASIK is quite economical.
