As of 2 years ago, Lasik did not have the equipment to treat eyes with large pupils. Has this changed?

He said that once the surgery becomes much more popular, it will be profitable for a company to design a system that can also work on (my) eyes with large pupils.
Obviously he knew what he was talking about, as a Lasik surgeon, but I am wondering whether since then this new equipment has been manufactured. Does anyone know?
There is wavefront lasik which increases the chances of success but as far as I know, there is nothing definetive and the odds of seeing disturbances such as halos and starbursts, as well as double vision is still quite a bit higher for people with larger pupils
