lasik
Meg asked:

I am having lasik surgery in the morning, and I was wondering what to expect immediately after I get home. I know I am supposed to nap most of the day, but what about when I am not napping? will I be able to see? Will I be in pain?

Your eyes will likely ache a bit and your first round of drops will probably sting. Tylenol or Advil plus a good nap will help with the ache. I got about 4 hours of nap time and eyes felt no worse than a long day of contacts. Considering I just had surgery on them that wasn’t bad. Keep your eyes closed as much as you can for the rest of the day. I put a couple audio books on my MP3 plus listened to the TV.
