plastic surgery
Vampire Cow asked:

I have a nasty scar on my arm from skateboarding which I need to have removed. I know insurance doesn’t cover plastic surgery, but the scar is also very sensitive to the touch, so it’s not about the look.

Does that qualify insurance to cover it?

if it hurts then its possible that insurance will cover it but i would call my insurance company and ask them

The chances are very very slim. There are only a few rare cases I’ve heard of.

Because of it hurting they should do it. I would honestly go and talk to my insurance company. Prove to them that it does indeed cause you pain and I am sure they would be more than happy to work something out with you. If not I personally would find a insurance company that did and I would do it that way. Because in order for my mom to get her eyelids fixed they have to be a bit more droopy to where it effects her vision and then the insurance company will take care of that type of plastic surgery. Until then she can’t do anything uless she wants to pay an arm and an ass. But honestly if it hurts and poses a problem for you go talk to your company and they SHOULD work something out if not, that’s just messed up.
