plastic surgery
D*Kat asked:

The whole point of plastic is to alter your appearance so others believe your naturally more attractive. So when you blab about it, you defeat the point of having the surgery in the first place, If people look at you and think “oh she’s got nice breasts.. etc, oh yeh but their not the ones she was born with” it’s abit ridiculous then, isn’t it?

No because if you are friends with someone then you are sharing your experience. And if you got your boobs done chances are it is fairly obvious you may as well talk about it anyone since everyone is wondering

Good point. Where I live, plastic surgery is not very common, so, honestly, I have no clue why people would get plastic surgery and then tell people about it. Interesting question.

Does seem kinda pointless doesn’t it? but then some people are nosy and actually ask such personal questions. In a situation where someone is cornered, what’s the person supposed to do? Lie?

To me, it’s no one’s business if they had cosmetic surgery and it’s rude to ask. Just like it’s rude to ask about age, weight, how much money one makes, etc. Whatever happened to the concept of being able to keep things to oneself?

Well some people get plastic surgery to make them to just look “normal”. Ever watch DSC Health or TLC? People who were like maybe 500 pounds…lost 300 pounds and had sagging skin? They got plastic surgery to fix it so they can have a “normal” life again. How about the girl with no face? Again, she got plastic surgery to benefit her needs. Not all about looking attractive. There are medical reasons behind a lot of cases.

Some people talk about their surgery also because maybe someone asked…not being rude, just throwing in another alternative.
